Planting of the Hop Yard

We're so excited to announce our first rhizomes have been planted in our hop farm, ready to start their climb this spring.

We've planted a variety of rhizomes sourced from different growers throughout the southwest. Some stand out varieties that we love to use in our own brews include Cascade, Perle, Chinook, Cluster, Nugget, Goldings and our first noble hop variety Hallertau. We'll also be trialling some different planting methods including the use of plant based propagation which is proving really successful in the U.S. Rhizome propagation will also be used in the near future once we know which varieties are growing well.

With the first hop rhizomes in the ground we simply can't wait for spring to arrive! Cheers
