National Tree Planting Day
August 16, 2015

We recently planted over 300 native seedlings in support of National Tree Planting Day. The planting is part of our revegetation program to improve the local biodiversity of our bush property.
We planted a range of native plants including banksias, eucalyptus, Karri's, Tea Trees and Bottlebrush.

To give our new plantings the best chances of survival we also used seedling bags to protect the young plants from native wildlife, wind and any unsuspecting walkers enjoying our beautiful bushland! The bags also make it pretty easy to spot our new plantings so make sure to check out their progress on your next trip down to the Cottages.
The native revegetation program is part of our commitment to the environment at Karridale Cottages and Hop Farm.
